States and Regions Economic Report (2019) aims to emphasize studying Myanmar Economy in terms of seven states and seven regions separately and in comparison for the prospects of resource allocation, the efficiency of subnational economies, equity of opportunities, and well-being of the people in seven states and seven regions. The main product of this theme is “States and Regions Economic Report”. Upcoming research papers and reports on specific themes and/or on specific states (or) regions can be published occasionally. In several thematic areas, an important consideration is not decentralization but a division of powers.
