Thurein Lwin

Thurein Lwin spent four years extensively in economic policy reforms in Myanmar. He co-founded Inya Economic Journal and Inya Economics in 2017, and the Panglong Initiative in 2024, contributing to democracy, federalism, and development issues. His experiences encompass diverse areas, including governance, economics, federalism, and public policy. Thurein received a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Chiang Mai University and a Master’s degree in Development Studies from Yangon University of Economics. He also holds a Diploma in International Relations from the University of Yangon and a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Dagon University.
